In 2007 we were greatly blessed to be joined by Philip Hefner from Horizon 2 Horizon evangelistic association in Texas. Philip was part of the Air Force Once advance team responsible for going ahead of the president’s plane and was working for both President Clinton and also President Bush. He was on duty during 911 and recounts the memories of that fateful day, but also the secure hope that a relationship with God brings when all around us is shaken.
During his time in Brynmawr, Philip spoke at various meetings, including a coffee morning at the Tabernacle Pentecostal Church in Brynmawr, Sunday morning at Brynmawr Family Church, a pre-Alpha Supper and also 3 youth nights in the basement of the Gwesty and Orchard Street Community Centre.
